| Jan 21.07 Great News! I was just written up in New York Teacher for being a multiple grant winner from Teacher's Network.com. They call PS261 a "goldmine" of teachers and my projects are featured in the article. So nice to get a pat on the back! Jan 09.07 NYC FIRST LEGO League guru and educational blogger Norm Scott visits my robotics team and gives us a glowing review on his blog. Thanks Norm! Dec 22.06 class 408 goes to the movies to see Charlotte's Web. "I liked it, but the old movie - even with the corney songs was more true to the book." - Kat, class 408

I am a 4th grade teacher at public school in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn. I am a graduate of Bank Street College of Education with a dual Masters of Science in Childhood Education and Literacy. I also have a BA in Drama and English from the University at Albany, SUNY. I entered the teaching profession after a ten-year career as a writer and producer for commercials and websites such as LEGO.com and Cartoon Network.com. This website is a collection of teaching projects as a showcase of some work I have accomplished and a service to the teaching community. Enjoy! |
